pure consciousness, awareness, the space in which all appears

everything is appearing in my own mind

in this clear aware space in which this post is appearing

but i don't have to believe that I am this aware space

i can just look and see that it is already so

it has always been so

Honestly, I have no clue. Yet here I am. I could make up a story about finding all this non duality stuff fascinating and wanting to talk with others about it or some long forgotten need to understand whats going on or just to play and even for the love of just being here, but I just don't know.

You're both.

'The appearance of the ONE' IS 'The material humanity' and everything else (including the struggle).

The Iamness here is no different than all the other Iamnesses.

It gets frightened, angry, lustful...can be loving.....can offend others....sometimes feels lost and alone....

And it is known that Adya, Gandhi, Mother T. and Nissargadatta are not essentially different than any other human animal.

Its experiential palate is completely human.

But no longer is it seen as the center of the world.

And Life flows along easily with or without its input.

Well e-&-f there is a feeling of envy here.
How to know that one is:
pure consciousness, awareness, the space in which all appears
Is it faith? a belief? did you have a vision? did it arise
when you were meditating?
I'd love to know I was that, really I would.

It would be wonderful to be able to move on from
this physical existence which I don't much care for,
to have a much larger sense of belonging ... but
I just don't know how to get it. And believe you me
there is much reason here to gain that knowledge/
awareness. So I'm not taking the mickey here ...
and all suggestions as to how to know this
are absolutely welcome.

Meanwhile ... there is this mammal with a computer
who has to keep existing regardless of how pleasant
or otherwise that is.

Hi makara

your questions reminded me

about “The Little Prince

by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Once when I was six years old I saw a magnificent picture in a book, called True Stories from Nature, about the primeval forest. It was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. Here is a copy of the drawing.

Image

In the book it said: "Boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing it. After that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion."
I pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. And after some work with a colored pencil I succeeded in making my first drawing. My Drawing Number One. It looked something like this:

Image

I showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them.
But they answered: "Frighten? Why should any one be frightened by a hat?"
My drawing was not a picture of a hat. It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. But since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, I made another drawing: I drew the inside of a boa constrictor, so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. They always need to have things explained. My Drawing Number Two looked like this:

Image

The grown-ups' response, this time, was to advise me to lay aside my drawings of boa constrictors, whether from the inside or the outside, and devote myself instead to geography, history, arithmetic, and grammar. That is why, at the age of six, I gave up what might have been a magnificent career as a painter. I had been disheartened by the failure of my Drawing Number One and my Drawing Number Two. Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.

So, in short,
Is it faith? a belief? did you have a vision? did it arise
when you were meditating?

NO.

IT just happens( i don't know how)

and the sense is exactly

something like a “boa constrictors

swallow their prey whole, without chewing it“

Enjoy the afternoon and have a goog nap...

...much, much smiles and loughter

Virtual touching
and communication
is something very natural

these are abilities we have
forgotten

nothing extraordinary
or exclusive

it's like breathe,
like heart beating

like this

fresh sunny morning

Good Morning, eldy and aqua!
