I find it rather odd.. the topics you come up with...it brings about a sense of paranoia. Do you have access to my computer?
Maybe it is the way my mind connects thoughts together. Like just a few days ago, I was reading Haikus.....
or is there REALLY no separation?

Here is how our mutual friend Rich Hay (WiTruth) explained it:

"The haiku form is fundamentally a three lines, with 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables; unless you happen to be a Master and then anything you do is okay, because you transend the form (are above/beyond the law).

Classically, haiku relates to nature and has a key word that identifies a particular season.

Rich also quoted from a favorite little book of his called “Awareness Beyond Mind” by a Kenneth Verity:

“…a true haiku should be a simple and direct expression (sometimes an exclamation) of pure response to a glimpse or scene in life, with no intervention from logical intellect.” 

“The good haiku is a picture in words, rich in suggestiveness – not an explanation or argument."

 “Senryn…is, in form, a haiku, but satirizes human foibles and allows the poet more freedom for content.”

As michael is over 50, it may be expressed thus:

Ah! Autumn years see
Syllables expressed in
Form: a Haiku. Ah!


Silly syllables
What foolishness is in the
Words: a Senryn. Ah!

This topic seems made for Rich, as he is in the process of publishing a book of haiku titled "Out of My Mind and Back to My Senses".
