per my previos post, I appear to be caught between a rock and a hard place.
On the one hand, I "know" the truth of non-dualism and have many experiences and knowings and direct knowings, as well as "falling off" of entity type things(compulsions, desires, mind talk)
yet, there seems to be an off-kilter/uneasiness that pervades.
while I know that there is nothing that can be done, nothing to be attained, nothing can be made to happen or prevented from happening, grace cannot be coerced - there feels an inner resistence to something, while sensing something right around the corner (could be liberation or a speeding car...)
I wonder if anyone else has gone through a transformative process that seemed to go in stages, with a "final" liberation/transformation.
i read this awahile ago from steven norguist:
"Study of books will not get you there, you need a shock. The easiest way I know is for an enlightened person to talk you into this perspective shift. The best books I have read were the ones that talked you into enlightenment. Feeling experiments such as the house scenario above are good to help evoke the feeling of enlightenment. Feel what it is like to not be there. The real breakthrough will come when you "feel" the truth. "
I read about Franklin Merrell-Wolff here:

The thought arises:
"Who am I?"
Another thought answers:
"I don't know any more who or what I am".
Another thought asks:
"Is there any way for thought to clear up this apparent problem?"
Who can answer this question?
A 'sense' (feeling/idea) of "impending transformation" arises.
As it arises, so it is experienced/known.
This 'sense' is senseless, unknowing
That which experiences the 'sense of impending transformation' is never transformed.
