What a busy night in the northern hemisphere!
So much reading ...
Now sitting before the keyboard ... let's see what emerges.
1) There are about 51 threads on the front page just now
23 or 45% are by Dilaram
17 or 33% are by Toombaru
The remaining 11 are by 5 contributors.
Really I don't know what it might take to get the dominant
two to leave a bit of space for others. Both seem impervious
to friendly feedback.
Hey guys, I like you but not that much.
And I want to hear more from others.
2) Makara enjoys this place. There has been some learning
but now it's more a place to come where there are
those who share a profound understanding.
This cannot be had in the consensus world.
So I don't mind what's shared ... jokes, experiences...
it's just that the body insists on being a social critter
and here sharing can happen.
3) ND theory may or may not be truth.
Meanwhile, there is being a body/mind which sometimes
behaves in ways that are challenging.
I would like for room for this type of sharing.
At present such OPs are jumped on (imho) by
'you don't exist' blah blah and the thread is throttled.
4) Every day body/minds in several countries sit before
computers and the result is this place .. this global
village well. Maybe a bit more respect wouldn't hurt
and more specifically what it meant is 'some folks
could be a bit more respectful to feedback.
wow ... i'm impressed...there seems to be a mathmatical,
or is it arithmetical, mood today in moi.
oh well that's what counts!
There's more but tiredness is happening here ...
Toombaru and Dilaram, you have both posted
a lot of really good stuff (as Matt & Aquarius pointed out).
You have also posted (inho) a lot of egotistic,
self justifying nonsense.
Notice then when you are kicked in nuts
you both crumble ... so stop playing know it alls.
Remember everything you need to know you
learned in kindergarten; especially
* share with others &
* don't dominate the sand-pit |

Makara,
This may....or may not surprise you......but I could care less about your preferences.
We are all speaking from our "egos".
There is no other way to speak.
You sound like a petulant child who wants life to conform to its personal desires.
I am not trying to please you.
I see you as I do all human beings.
...a clot of swirling self-defensive mnemonic debris.
You say that you are on a spiritual search but you still persist in keeping the dream confined to what you prefer.
These words may sound harsh......and they are.
But it is time to grow up and out of your cramped little abode that you call "me".
It's morning on the Central Coast of California.
Sunlight is streaming up Strawberry Canyon.

in the end
IT IS ALL JUST
WORD GAMES
maybe this sounds insulting to someone
out there
that thinks anything has been said
written or read
that really matters
it doesn't
none of it
all confetti on the stream
make it rice
fish get sick if they eat too much human garbage

And I'm here to tell you, take a dip into that Ocean of Awareness you have not yet tasted.
I did....and its exhilarating...nothing to be said about it except the bliss of it just wants to be shared, even if one has to go through hell to do so.
Remember that movie with Robin Williams? *What Dreams May Come?
It's kinda like that.

makara, for what it's worth, when aqua first started posting at this forum, some of toombaru's comments to my topics used to make me cry and feel very hurt.
However, Toomby's posts are the truth mak.
I see that now, i couldn't see it before, but i do now,
and i'm so grateful for all his apparent coldness and his harsh words that used to make me cry,
because they sure as hell woke the hell up out of me.
Sorry toomby, i don't mean you are cold literally, i mean i could see what you were saying.

When Nate was about six, he began to tell me what he had learned about Jesus and God.
"Jesus" he said, "was a little god and the big God lived in heaven."
After a long discourse he stopped and waited for a response.
"Natie", I said, "Papa doesn't believe any of that stuff........and if it doesn't make sense to you.....you don't have to believe it either."
His laughter bubbled up and filled the room.
I am waiting for him to ask me about Santa. |

What arises here, after re-reading recent long threads,
is very simple.
If you can't take it,
then don't dish it out to others.
All those who come here have been touched
by the wordless wonder that Kailashana alludes to.
Yet the body/mind (character) remains
cumbersome, tending to entropy, fallible
and the mystery and glory must be contained
or only spread silently in loving action to 'self as other'.
If only T could just observe his own
oft repeated mantra ... "swirling neumonic debris"
then his offering would not be so tainted with
such sheer arrogance. |

makara, you are saying Kailashana alludes to wordless wonder, whereas toomby's offering is tainted with arrogance.
However, haven't you noticed how well both Kailashana and toombaru get on together? read back through their interactions with one another.
They're like peaches and cream together.
It's as if they're in love.
I don't see Kailashana complaining .... just an observation mak.
all the best to you.

makara, i was referring more to the entire time that both K & T have been posting here, and not just here, but on a certain poetry forum too.
I'm not talking about physical love, just a free love of knowing each other.
Kailashana has changed her user name .

That's why talking about ND is stupid.
