Maybe toombaru's on holiday right now, or just taking a break for awhile.
I doubt Leo has banned him, it's not like he has offended anyone personally,or that he is deliberately trying to be argumentative.
I've always seen a very willing and cooperative side to him, as he engages in conversation.
It's not always on his terms at all.
He just wants to come here and share his version of ND, to tell it like it is, how he sees it,
oh well, sometimes the 'God' word is mentioned, but what's wrong with that? it's only a word...so what?
Personally, i think the word ''Noduality'' is more offensive than the 'God' word, or anything toomby's said.
Toomby's a genius, i'd be very proud to have him on my forum.
At the end of the day it's just a public forum.

Life means death means change means changelessness. All the same to me. Everything is holy, nothing is sacred, more bullshit in between. |

Crisis? I don't know of any crisis.
All I know is the kindergarten rules:
-share the toys and
-don't hog the sandpit.
How does the caterpillar analogy
fit into the discussion - which recently
is about reciprocity not unilaterality? |
Okay, we agree that reciprocation is the natural state of things. To be perfectly clear do we agree that there is a constant balance, a wholeness, a ying and yang?
I'm trying to ascertain what the "trouble afoot" could be?
In bringing up the caterpillar thing, I was trying to point out that when things look bad or out of control there is order in what seems to be disorder.
To continue with the next stage of the caterpillar:
Once someone saw a butterfly trying to get out of its cocoon. It seemed as though it was struggling so this person gently pulled it out. The butterfly fell to the ground. It couldn't get up and spread its wings because there was a squeezing process going on that was supposed to have wrung out the cocoon fluids from its wings. It died.
Having an idea or concept of what helping, order or compassion is supposed to look like can result in action that can have the opposite effect than what was intended. Just as having an idea about how someone or something (like a corporation) should reciprocate or behave in kindergarten can. _________________ Log on to the inner-net and be kind to your mind (or not). |

Exactly - To ask any participant not to be human
seems a nonsense.
In truth/the ALL/...there is no-thing to be said.
Only silence.
So talking, sharing, belongs to humans and occurs
in duality and in language where change is constant.
In short we are conceptual overlays
(even though we also know
that in reality nothing changes. )

Yes, Xmac, we agree. On earth there is
a dynamic (self-correcting) balance.
Quote: | what the "trouble afoot" could be? |
I don't get why you don't get it!
A reciprocal system:
Bob pays rent to Jack; Jack provides Bob a home.
Bob stops paying rent;......see the problem?
In terms of this thread - T was provided a place
in this forum.
Admin asked him (read it ...very reasonably and
kindly asked) for one small thing - to stop the
god bashing - which I'd already commented on
as T's antipathy. It was tedious - none of us here
are bible bashers or god botherers so who was T
addressing? Anyway T couldn't reciprocate -
so the 'trouble afoot' inthis case is that he's
no longer here (shame as that may be - it's entirely
of his own making).
This is a human forum. We are not disembodied
spirits communicating in silence.
We use dualistic language and material means
therefore the give & take is called for.
No one uses foul language, or openly insults
anyone, or deliberately seeks to hurt anyone ...
or argues with Admin .
This is the balance.
The caterpillar" well we're back to Prigogine's
dissipative systems here. Where there is greatest
instability there is also the greatest potential
for change of structure to a higher (or lower)
order. So no argument about the 'seeming'
struggle in the chrysalis; or with the interference...
I'm just not seeing how the whole caterpillar
analogy fits into the thread.
Are you suggesting that T is mothballed somewhere
in a chrysalis and will emerge a beautiful
non god basher? That would indeed be welcome. |

I can only come at this from my own experience:
Every time I felt a dis-ease, or some peace subside, in reaction to what T said, I knew right away (well almost right away) that I was God bashing. Simple.
T is God, the chip in my mug is God, insults are God, a drunk's vomit on my shoes are God.
I occasionally had my own religion and it sounded like this, "he's unbelievable". Sometimes I found myself shaking my head. BUT! then I caught the prankster once again (me/thoughts I thought had meaning) and said Ahhht! Good one.
Of course, it never meant that I had to agree with him. But what was important to me is how I related to a part of me I couldn't see; the part I'm always in a hurry to disown. _________________ Log on to the inner-net and be kind to your mind (or not). |

How is Bob not paying rent a problem?
Maybe he's dead.
Maybe he's moving.
Maybe his landlord sold him the building.
Maybe his landlord wants to help while Bob is unemployed.
Maybe they've set up a barter agreement.
Maybe his landlord will get out of the business and find enlightenment in India.
See where I'm going with this?

Ok my friend,
hearing you loud and clear.
It was all just a confusion of
the dual v the non dual. |

It's too late ... the photos have been
taken and now they all think
you're one of us crazy ones ...
but if you wear a white coat
with lots of pens in the pocket
we'll all swear you're one of the
staff.
