Nah - that's just a bunch of memories,
mere debris swirling
down the synaptic
pathways;
simple bunching up of
random mnemonics.

Laughing Laughing Laughing

Your too funny mak.

Hey, talking of memories.

Here is a quote from the memory of Toombaru.

Quote:
Longing occurs only within the personal perspective.....
the mnemonic drama that emerges between an imaginary self referential past and an imaginary self referential future.

Longing is a by-product of human conceptual mentation.
It occurs naturally when the imaginary self is assumed to be the isolated center of its own imaginary kingdom.

The intensity of longing is in direct proportional relationship to the opacity of the illusory self.

Longing is the 'suffering' of which the Buddha speaks.

Good one huh?

Libra, thanks for posting the link to fromlove.org. Beautiful site.

I heard Adyashanti quote St John of the Cross but had never thought to look up more… this was on fromlove…

We can be aware of our Source of Being. The illusions of the mind may hold our love for a time, but to love Love itself, we must turn within. The soul's longing for its true Home is the guide to finding this Love. Follow the lover of the Beloved back upstream to your Source. - St. John of the Cross

Cool

Happy weekend all. I'm tired out by life this week Embarassed pistole Mr. Green

Anna, I had same problem ...waited ages
and it wouldn't open.
Later I tried again and this time it
did open ... but if you don't have fast
internet connection the page is very large
and takes a long time to load.

No Anna, it's not.
Lovely ... but material you have heard before.
The site gathers sayings about love
from many sources and places them here
on this site.

It's not a good design (web-site) as home
page is very large so loading is very slow.

Soon it will be time for your breakfast coffee
and a new day ....
may it be fully alive!
