Happiness is that which lovingly allows unhappiness to exist.

O, U2! Exactly. Troubling thing is having/wanting/needing a warm gun proves that unhappiness/fear exists. Eh?

Happiness is knowing happiness doesn't exist.

Ahh... but you are mistaken my friend.

Happiness does exist. It is existence itself in its myriad of experiences.
With one caveat: bearing responsibility for one's words/actions/behaviour.

Happiness emerges
like a distant memory,
a remembrance…
a feeling of balance
and harmony,

…of Oneness,
of total merging,
undifferentiating
of subject/object
with a whole,
complete
One…Flow…

…the sense of
unhappiness
emerges because
of the illusionary sense
of separation….

…a contrast,
a painting painted in
black and white…..

…and still
One
painting…..

Beautiful poem, Anna.

However, for me unhappiness emerges mostly when I see the misery and cruelty in the world.

I can't run around with a beatific smile on my face when most of 6.8 billion in this world are suffering with 1001 afflictions we as humans can perpetrate on one another.

It's just not possible, although that sense of joy, of harmony, of ecstasy
is ALWAYS present.

And usually it comes under the guise of something or another.

This implies a 'someone' who is responsible
and free will.

Yes!

On the other side of the door, one notices that there is someone
who is acting out his/her role.

With that comes an intimate sense of responsibility to love, truth, compassion....because THAT is the road that took us to and through the door to nowhere.... now here.

One IS the embodiment of love, truth and compassion or one is nothing and no one.

It's taking the show on the road, so to speak.

Ha!

For most of this life I was like this ... active,
involved, outrages, protesting against war or for a 'better' ....

Not any more.

So while there is agreement with -

- there is no knowledge of how to express this.

There's no emoticons for nodding so just pretend there is one.
