"The point being made in this story is that for all to be One/nothing/ totality without division, no change is required. Including the seeing of that, or what may be called awakening to the dream. Should so called awakening occur it is within the dream, just like the seeing of duality, and has absolutely nothing to do with becoming Oneness/nothing. All is already that...........at least in this story.

Oneness doesn't need anything, including awareness of itself................... to be nothing."

So... it's ALL the dream...no need for anything, even liberation. This is such a HUGE relief!

fox...

Huh?

Oh, fox! DO tell! Shocked

And.... what an amazing "holodek" your site is!Cool

How about adding this, too:

adshanti wrote:

"Longing to know

In Longing
to know
My Own
Unknowableness,
separation,
which created time and space,
happened.

Listening less and less
to the silent whisperings of Ease,
and attracted by attraction,
attention started to move,
leaving Home to meet the other.

Discovering the more,
while forgetting what cannot be forgotten.
Searching for beauty and love,
only finding death and suffering.
Life after life,
trying to heal the pain of separation,
fuddled by dreams of good and better,
and hoping for illusions that last.

Avoiding every dis-illusion at any cost,
Exhausted and hopelessly trying to hold myself together.
Believing that understanding and effort would eventually
sooth the pain of living.

Hope ended in frightening helplessness and
desperate isolation.

Softly Grace whispered in the darkest of all nights
revealing Home.
Feeling utterly Blessed
I drank thankfully from the Sweet Waters of Life.

Embraced by Silence, Peace and Ananda,
I longed so deeply to stay There,
invited by Timelessness and Bliss.
Overwhelmed by the perfume of Eternity.

I foolishly believed to be Enlightenend.

Each and every time Bliss ended.
But separation survived it all.

Since the beginning of times,
pain of separation was my true
inseparable companion.

But Truth is smiling in dis-illusion.

Now....

No thing to hold on to.
No one to hold together.
No more directions to explore.

Attention free from direction,
drifting without shores,
without moorings.
Homeless and utterly empty
from 'me' and 'mine-ness',
without Being nor not-Being.
Unknowable Unknowableness.

Has anything ever happened ?"

Yeah, Sara.

I already planned to put this other fascinating poem of Adshanti on ultrafeel.tv as well...I updated today, the elephant-mouse parable of wakethemup.org.
Thanks Joe!

"...there is something that is actually NOT part of the dream!!..."

aehhmm, it is still a secret...!

thank you fox - by stanza i mean the first lines of the poem:
In Longing
to know
My Own
Unknowableness,
separation,
which created time and space,
happened.

I really liked that- it seemed to resonate with my understanding - that while Understanding Is, Knowing Is and IT does not need an object to be the subject,
IT needs to manifest in form to "appreciate" and understand and know itself. (how does god see his/her/its own face?)
No right or wrong or true (it _is_ just a model and there is no truth in form - IT cannot be expressed - only pointed and alluded to) or teaching or preaching implied - just how it appears to me at this moment

love

joe

Cool

PS. and there are new posts on the site - enjoy
