Through conceptual consensus.....reality is separated into bite-sized pieces.

This process calls itself 'mind'.

These very concepts are the only tools available in the attempt.......by a few.....to understand their own (imaginary) origin.

This is so 'dog worrying a bone' deliciously frustrating.

What 'conceptual consensus'? Can concepts form a consensus?

What is meant here by 'process'? Another bone.

So-called 'reality' feels like a tool for consciousness......but for what end?

Our entertainment??? WHAT is up with that?'Shocked

There really are no tools available for the concepts, are there?!

Gnaw gnaw chomp chomp.....grrrr! Confused

<sigh>

love,
sara

It is interesting to think or ponder or fantasize or realize or conceptualize, figure out, pontificate, memorize, meditate or reguritate.....and every single thought is IT. And not it. Every sound, candle light flicker, feeling, is also it. There is no way not to write about it. And when you say or write something that really seems to be it or close to it or almost describes it, it is meaningless. There is no way to reach it, touch it or feel it. Everything we write here is useless garbage. And at the same time, nothing is useless and there is no such thing as garbage. We are missing the point, but then there is no point to miss. And it is also ok to disagree and think we know it or have it or have lost it.....or know it better than you or me or them. Dispair, joy, it is all the same. And when it is finally SEEN, it is seen by no one, so what's the point? And what is the rush. What is the purpose. Well, it's just so much fun and such a great game. A puzzle that can't be solved. Endless torment, intrigue, mystery...... But then there are those who can paint such a brilliant pictures through words and images....that it is a masterpiece and a joy to read. Like Leo and probably a few others. But don't blame them, or attribute greatness to them. It ain't their fault. For in a way, everything is a masterpiece of oneness..... there is only mystical experience. It is such a lovely dance.....the moonlight on a high mountain lake....shimmering.....the sound of water lapping on the shore......my altar to Tara with flowers and candles......devotion, prayer, chanting, getting drunk on occasion, and I hear that sex is amazing......will have to try that sometime. With a Nun. In Notre Dam. Pater nostra...... When I was in high school, I had to learn the Lord's prayer in Latin......40 years later it still arises. So is this just silly nonsense? On that note, I wish everyone who has waded through this....if you are still here and not fallen asleep with boredom...I wish you a happy new year. As if the new year starts shortly. May the oneness that is all there is, reflect back in a shooting star, a light so bright that nothing remains...no night or day, no shadows, no black or white, no up or down, no urge to see the true reality. Amen.

Nope, nothing at all like boredom... in fact, quite the opposite.
Thanks again.

There is a small band of people that live in the hills of West Virginia.

They worship the radio that brings them the word of God every Sunday.

My Dear,

There is no band of people in West Virginia that worship the radio.

The above was a pointing:

Programmed within the phantom that emerges from....and is the origin of.... the process of conceptualization is the compulsive need to look outside of itself for the source ....and remedy......of its imagined problems.

This is the fuel that keeps the machinery of illusory separation grinding along.

Little is it aware that this searching is itself the author of the ties that bind it to its delusional world.

When one of these phantoms hears a sequence of concepts that might....in its opinion....relieve its suffering.......it invariably attributes the prescription to a source that lies outside of its personal bubble.

It will then offer compliments......praise.......and in extreme cases will begin to deify this imagined source...........

All the while.........unbeknownst to it.........It is.........Itself the ultimate source........out of which the cooling spring of wisdom flows.

Toombaru, the question was asked...

... It is asked about WHOSE phantoms you were referencing???

IOW, from where are you getting your info about the worhsip... the praise... the conceptualizations... the emergence... the programming... the seeking of remedies... the fuel... the machinery... the grinding... the suffering... the ties and bindings... the relief of suffering... the problems... the attributions... the prescriptions... the deification?

What is the source of all of these things that toombaru writes about?

From where are you getting your information?... What is its SOURCE???

toombaru: A character can never be aware......that it is a character.

Well... a somewhat roundabout way of answering the original question...
Was there no understanding of it when the question was first asked?...
Arrow And from what source are these particular phantasms, Toombaru?
Confused

So... would this "joy" be in any way similar to the "worship," "compliments," "praise," and/or "deification" pointed to above?
