The One remains
the many change and pass
heaven's light forever shines
earth's shadows fly
Life, like a dome of many-coloured glass
stains the white radiance of eternity.

Shelley.

Thank you 'hatima' for reminded
'me' about Shelley. Cool

Percy Bysshe Shelley

(1792-1822)

Artist: Joseph Severn

"Hot Brained Dreamer."

"I had rather not have
my hopes and illusions
mocked by sad realities."

Mutability

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness rediantly! -- yet soon
Night closes round, and they are lost forever:

Or like forgotten lyres, whose dissonant strings
Give various response to each varying blast,
To whose frail frame no second motion brings
One mood or modulation like the last.

We rest. -- A dream has power to poison sleep;
We rise. -- One wandering thought pollutes the day;
We feel, conceive or reason, laugh or weep;
Embrace fond woe, or cast our cares away:

It is the same! -- For, be it joy or sorrow,
The path of its departure still is free:
Man's yesterday may ne'er be like his morrow;
Nought may endure but Mutability.

and i repeat ANNA
wow-er-full stuff,
thanks for digging it up or making it up,

and hey did i tell you,
tonight i avoided my third
head-on collision,
it's strange, in the past 5 days
it seems every yahoo in the world is
on my side of the road,
tonight it was a simple jerk of the wheel
to the right- for me, and a chuckle,
it didn't seem real,
nor did i care who or what "their problem was"...
it was just a move-in-the-moment-
nothing more, and the night sky above,
and my little bird was daydreaming
his way toward bedtime,
so what happened?, really?
nothing... Very Happy
but i do like a driving challenge,
i realized...
and then shifting through the s-curves
coming around "loon lake"
you'd think i'd never forgot about living in joy,
& being...blah blah..
