[quote="michael"]Consciousness knows/senses meaning, feelings and other sensations as they arise.

The above words are really a tautology... for 'sensing/knowing' is not something 'consciousness' does... 'sensing/knowing' 'is' 'consciousness' and 'consciousness' 'is' 'sensing/knowing'.

The words are also in adverted commas because they cannot be 'understood'... they are simply 'self evident'.

Consciousness is never in doubt/error about the sensations and meaning arising each moment.

Dreamt sensing/knowing and/or the dream mind. Both equally each other and the One Love in Action.

Hi heron. In your last post, it is not apparent where 'my' words end and 'your' words start... what a great pointer eh? Very Happy

Perhaps part of 'my' post may be better expressed:

"The words are also in adverted commas because they cannot be 'understood'... they simply point to that which is 'self evident'."

As for the word 'dreaming', this too is just a pointer... not to a different state but to another concept of a different way of looking at that which is perceiving as that which is perceived appears. It points to the 'insubstantial' nature of appearances (another concept Very Happy )... that is really 'self evident'.

'Dreaming' is not what one is 'doing', nor is one 'Awake'.

Both these concepts relate to apparent experience.

That which is beyond all experience, all concepts, simply is...

Love

Hi Micheal

What was meant here is that there would be no description/pointers more accurate than any other description/pointers, at describing that which cannot be described. "Self evident" or "sensing/knowing" would not somehow be more accurate than anything else.........understanding for instance.
