by a roudy, laughing crowd..
some one speaks in a mocking tone
to her, "you chose this"
she is forced to dye her hair red,
the dye flows out from a fountain
and floods down the steps to our feet..
the walls are covered over in snapshots,
each one a guilt, a pleasure or a sin
from her past, each with a small caption written below it..
from the ceiling hang fortunes written on streamers,
they twist and turn in a wind
created by the laughter, we try to read
but get only bits and pieces of..
the photos only make us laugh too,
we embrace, their world disappears
in this kiss..
