"For the first half of his life did one man study the great mystical writings of all the ages and finally realized how repetitious they were, from era to era and place to place, continually rehashing the same limited number of topics;
he decided to devote the remainder of his life to only reflecting on matters that might bring him to enlightenment that those of his ilk before him had not considered;
the task proved much more difficult than he had expected, which itself
gave him something new to consider.
The thoughts that Life generates in man are (if nothing else)
protective of what Life doesn’t want men thinking about."

Wasn't he (Jan Cox) a gurdjieff guy? Life conspiring to keep its secrets from us...

Maybe he couldn't see it because he was looking over "there", and it's not over there.

He was a Gurdjieff guy. He died about a week ago.

If it is true....as the sages tell us...."It" is so simple that it cannot be seen.......Who do you suppose is the culprit...the trickster....that is able to hide its self so well....right out here in the open?

It cannot be the illusory self that is running the show........It has to be 'Life' itself that conspires to perpetuate the delusional perspective.

The illusory self.....the identified entity...becomes the co-conspirator for a very good reason.... in discovering its true nature........It looses everything.
