Ego would like to be everything, but that means it will be nothing (specific)...so it sticks with 'something'...

Ego doesn't like or dislike.
Ego is not a thing.
It is not an entity.
It is not an actuality.
It is an assumption that emerges within preference.

An assumption is an actual assumption.

And in what does preference emerge?

A mirage is an actual mirage.
A dream is an actual dream.
A thought is an actual thought.
An idea is an actual idea.

In sentient life.

Everything is actual, the dream of duality in which the sentient life appears is an actual dream.

I saw a painting of a
waterfall once that
looked so real...........

.....on closer examination.....
I realized that it was a
two dimensional copy.

And I stopped trying to
quench my thirst there.

three and four and ...dimensions also arise in 'two-ness'...

Nothing is what you think or sense or feel it is...nor is it otherwise...
