A transit of Venus.
Which we southern hemisphere lot have an affinity
with because Captain Cook - who discovered Australia
and New Zealand - was sent to the Pacific by the Royal
Society to observe the transit in 1769.
My plan is to rent a good dvd so I can avoid
all the tv nonsense. |
