Question:Intellectually I KNOW there is only non-duality; have had experiences
of cosmic understanding, etc; but right now, am wondering about the
apparent "kundalini/pranic movement" which is seriously debilitating --
i.e. tremendous HEAT in feet and legs; tremendous pranic popping and
cracking in 6th chakra or head.
Can't find any info from anyone who has completed this pranic journey except da Free John...aka Ananda...aka other spiritual designations. He says: "This pranic movement has NOTHING to do with realization of Non-Duality .... they are two different things" I am a dedicated web searcher and nothing has produced anyone (non-existing entity) that will discuss this in a clarification. Yes, I know "I" is only a center of awareness - a field and not a being-as-such; yet the physical vehicle of linking (body) is experiencing something that needs information. Thank you -- sorry to be so wordy--but as you said so well in your book -- IT can't be described so well. Answer: As long as there is the belief that I KNOW, the Knowing-without-the-doer is not ac-know-ledged. There always, already, is simply KNOWING and no 'I' to do the knowing. The split between knower and known, as well as between intellectual and 'real' knowing are in themselves concepts arising in -or known by- the Knowing You already and always are. The body and the kundalini experience arise in the Awareness-You-Are; nothing but temporal content in the Eternal Context. Let's pretend for a moment that there is a 'you,' then let the heat rise, invite the panic in and look at it directly. Make it even welcome, say "OK, do your worst, devour me" then be silent…… even for a moment and see. Now, what can it actually do? Generate heat and make a feeling that gets labeled as panic? What is it when it is met without resistance? What can it achieve without mind/labels or story line? What can it accomplish when it is totally welcomed in silence? It is al mind, and this mind has realized that it has no eternal and independent existence. It knows the non-dual concepts, and now it is using them to hold on for dear life. In a panic it spins a story that it 'knows' the truth of non-dual-All-ness, and it has found in this a small island in the Ocean of Infinity, where it tries to make its last stand. In spite of its best attempts, it sees the non-dual waves eating away at the last remnants of the conceptual beach, and meets it with panic. Really, let it do it's dance, then accept, surrender and trust. YOU are itself the ocean claiming this small island. The fighting and the seeking for a way out has not helped, so turn around 180 degrees and meet it. Be consumed like the phoenix, and see that YOU are not exclusively the body/mind. You do not need to fear, you do not need help, you are Freedom ItSelf, and all experiences, including these words, are only your own Self inviting 'little you' to trust, to let go, and to see that there is only Home.

Q: Can you briefly explain your teaching?
Bob: What I try to point out is based on what the ancient traditions tell us. In advaita, for instance, which is the Hindu teaching of nonduality, they say it is exactly that: it is nondual, one-without-a-second. Other great traditions also point out the nondual aspect of it. For instance, in the Dzogchen Buddhist teachings, they say it is ‘non-conceptual, self-shining, ever-fresh, presence-awareness, just this and nothing else’. Christianity and a lot of the other traditions talk about the supreme or God. They say it is omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience: all power, all presence, and all knowing. To me that shows that there is nothing other than that, that everything is, if you like to use the term, God or spirit. I use the term ‘intelligence-energy’. It is only that and nothing but that. Q: A common view in yoga circles about the nondual understanding is that the mind and body must be purified before one is ready to receive this teaching. Otherwise, it will remain on an intellectual level. Bob: Again, going back to what I just said. It is all the one. The mind and the body are also that one. It just needs to be looked into and seen that they are all the one essence or the one taste. So, there is really nothing needs to be purified. Nothing can be purified, because it is already pure! Q: Mmm! I have got nothing else to ask then! (Laughter)

On A Day When The Wind Is Perfect On a day when the wind is perfect, the sail just needs to open and the world is full of beauty. Today is such a day. My eyes are like the sun that makes promises; the promise of life that it always keeps each morning. The living heart gives to us as does that luminous sphere, both caress the earth with great tenderness. This is a breeze that can enter the soul. This love I know plays a drum. Arms move around me; who can contain their self before my beauty? Peace is wonderful, but ecstatic dance is more fun, and less narcissistic; gregarious He makes our lips. On a day when the wind is perfect, the sail just needs to open and the love starts. Today is such a day.
