dilaram wrote:"I" am not "It" or "There" :!:

Please don't take "my" words for Absolute truths, because they are not,

they are just conceptual pointers to 'non-conceptual Being' (included this concept).

Ok ... that's all clear. But when a statement is used like: There is only one Self appearing as nearly 7 billion selves. That is merely the closeset that can be had with words/concepts. If it is refuted then we have to refute all words. Maybe that would be a good thing? But the (dream) world is the...

The I amness emerges concurrently with the conceptual mind of man. It exists within and is no different than the mind map that is confined to its own personal pseudo-realty. The sense of being a separate autonomous entity functions to enhance the physical organism's chances to survive and reproduce...

Nor do those who see their lunacy. And here, as Shakespeare might have said, lies the rub! Those who genuinely want to know the truth are such a tiny minority. Somewhere I vaguely recall seeing: "One in a thousand is interested in ending suffering; and of those only one in a thousand is willing to ...

There is no self.....no little s self....no big S Self. Perhaps some explanation would be rather helpful here Toombaru. I haven't come across this proposition in any of my readings so am interested in what you mean. The I amness emerges concurrently with the conceptual mind of man. It exist...

Re: Our Father Who Liveth In The North Pole

Ok.....so let's say that eighty percent of Americans believe that Santa is God and that He brings presents to the good people and gives nothing to the bad people. Are we obligated to go along with that? You don't have any choice they believe what they believe. Nor do those who see their lunacy.

My woman is complaining I don't carry enough ideas around. Apparently attending to what arises is not enough - there are lists of things that should be done too  and agreements about when and how they will be done. Perhaps I should put her down  (joke) Putting a different twist on an old...

to see the futility of wanting to change the world to 'your' ideals... A quick look at the authors of recent posts is strong support that Dilaram is talking about himself again. There is only one Self appearing as nearly 7 billion selves. There is no self.....no little s self....no big S Self.

Re: Woman, religion....Does it matter?

An old monk and a young monk were walking through a forest when they came to a river bank and saw a beautiful young woman standing at the edge of the bank. The woman told the monks that she was afraid to cross the river because she might slip and be carried downstream. She asked if one of the monks...
