nothing to do really?...

Post by Philippe » Sat Jan 13, 2007 5:57 pm

It is common to hear here and there things such as: "there is nothing "I" can do to know myself, no possible progress, no "I" anyway, just give up searching and be here and now..."

...But 99% of people in the world don't mind about knowing themselves or about improving themselves. Should the spiritual seekers adopt the same attitude?...

There is no "spiritual seeker".

The machinery of seeking.....and the seeker emerge concurrently.

They are the same phenomenon.

The seeker can never see this....It is the content of conscious and lives downstream from the Universal Awareness.

There is nothing that the seeker can do........or not do......to improve its imaginary condition.

For some reason

Brain inserts a 'Person' where there isn't one.

Example:

If tree falls in woods and there is no one around to hear it does it still make a noise?

Humans are like spooky ghost

We try to 'fix' someone who aint really there.

This is not my experience. Through philosophy, interrogation, communication with others, my "imaginary life" has improved through years, if my unit of measure is serenity. It's why "progress" has a meaning for me.

"I am" is the "sense" of a self that appears. (Said by that same sense of self, I think). :!:
