Enlightenment is...

Enlightenment is...

Caring with compassion, the source of which is great sadness.

But also not caring,

Enlightenment is realizing by the time that

you see it,

hear about it,

smell it,

step in it,

or run headlong into it..

Its too late...to do anything. (sadness is an option if you like)

Enlightenment is the realization of Ones true inertness

I hardly ever try to explain what enlightenment is...

But for some reason I feel like tossing my 2 cents in this time...

Okay... [ahem] ... Enlightenment is...

Finding what was never lost...
while simultaneously losing what was never found...
and KNOWing what was lost/found is/ain't.

Okay, if anybody can figure out what the heck I just wrote ...

well, maybe just have a good laugh about it, because that's about all it's good for. ;)

good One maple... smile

how about:

"recognising your 'no face'..
which looking (out)
itself can never be seen"

or

"the apparent end of seeking for that which has never been lost"...

though of course there is absolutely no difference between these experiences and the experience of being a good muslim, or born again christian, or any other experience...

except for the content... smile

lucky you,
you found the way,
finally...

you borrowed a vehicle,
some~one lets you drive,
you make a left turn onto
the one-way street named
life....

imagine,
a one way street,
no available parking
a long line of traffic behind...

oh,
and it's a dead end...

I think that does make sense.

Perhaps all that is lost is that insane search,

Perhaps all that is lost is that insane search,
yeah...together with that insane one seeking :D

....and yet, nothing is ever lost.

Funny how it seems to be such a subtle thing that is 'lost', this 'insane one seeking'.
It seems only to be an assumption, that is not inquired into.

 Leo, above is just one more example of the brilliance
that emerges and blossoms out of this fertile ground
in this small plot of electronic space...
the funding can pay for staff to run the show
and give you more time to walk the dogs,
and travel a bit, perhaps...

not begging you to keep this experiment alive as much
as perhaps arguing that it is not yours to destroy,
and perhaps a transition of duites can be absorbed
by those who are content to do so, and that
creates a sort of forward energy that allows it
to change and to continue...
you hatched the egg,
let the bird fly?
clip it's wings?
or fry it up for dinner?
