Plant a tree and then die

Post by fox » Thu Dec 06, 2007 5:14 pm

Hello everybody, I salute you!

I plant a tree.
Then I die.

Will I see this (then bigger) tree again?
Does it make sense to plant trees in this deadly context?

if you die in your forest and cry out,
will anyone hear it?
be yourself, the real fictional character?

Really now,

does it make sense to plant trees regarding the 'fact' (?), that the dream will soon end??

Will the tree disappear forever?

If so, does it make sense to do anything at all?

I'm not so concerned about what happened
to the trees I saw in my dream last night
but Fox, if you believe you are the doer of your deeds
and that doing anything at all is senseless
then see if you can stop doing what you do.

Perhaps sense is great for
book keeping
and for driving in traffic
or for paying the bills...

But perhaps making sense is not that important
when considering the countless stars and galaxies
great earth quakes and volcanoes
music and dance
the Himalayas and endless desserts
laughter and tears...
Where is the sense in that?

........and the trying to stop doing suddenly becomes what you are doing.

But you also wouldn't say that the fact that everything just suddenly disapperas is 'good'?!

Does in fact everything suddenly disappear at all??

And how could that be known in the first place?

You know what would be really sad?

If you and those trees would live forever.
