Less Silly

Post by toombaru » Fri Dec 14, 2007 5:19 pm

Why is the belief in one god less silly than the belief in many gods?

(bumper sticker).........(that will probably get you in a fistfight.)

"Sillyness" can be ranked on an appearance's repeatability.

It is unsilly to assume that an object dropped........will fall toward the sun.

It IS silly to believe in a creator god.

One of the above is observable......and repeatable.......the other is simply a daydream.

Let's use my emotional age instead.

It's a much shorter period of time. [bigsmile] [bigsmile]

Non-belief is not a belief.

Actually.......I don't believe in anything.
