Time to confess, before closing!

Post by Aurora » Tue Jan 08, 2008 10:58 pm

Since a was a child , I never belied what they told me , that I was born at some pinpoint in time and will pass away at some other. It just didnt make sense. I have always been and will always be. I am eternal. I knew it. I just didnt get so much support on it. I couldnt read and write, and the computers and forums hadnt started their area of glory. no wonder I felt " a little" lonely.

aquarius, I found your post beautiful

it's not exactly a confession, but it's the truth- I'm 36, and the only times I can look back on and say I actually achieved something was when I made a difference to the lives of the children I was working with. especially the ones with cigarette burns on their backs- both literal and metaphorical- there's not really any difference between them and me.

It meant a lot that I could give them a few positives, a bit of self-worth in whatever way I could- just by liking them sometimes, before they went back to their horrendous homelives.

I'm feeling reflective tonight, for whatever reason. I'm struggling with myself, because I'd love to do that again, but I'm useless with commitment, and adults. Inevitably you have to deal with them as well :D

hmmm...

also, I have incredible artistic and musical talents that I've never done anything with. That bugs me.

Thanks danny....
your story is so sweet and very sensitive
it is a tender heart you have and it comes out in your writing..
you are lucky to be that way ..so feel proud of yourself..
the world is what we make it you know that..
it can be a dark and lonely place only if we identify with that concept
and really the world is only ever what you are feeling in your own heart.

Namaste.

yes you are eternal,
the moment you are not.
but if you are not,
who is eternal?
noone is eternal.
there is only eternity
and you are that

It all boils down to the 'Being' equation.

Being is required for anything to arise......... including not being.

Being is the ultimate sublation......

................................................it is what 'you' are.

It's funny how we talk about Being all the time and we have no idea what we're talking about.
