time & date

Post by jeff j » Thu Jan 10, 2008 6:57 pm

dear Leo,

was wondering what time (your time)
and day (your day)
will be the official closing... (date & time)

maybe the group can gather
and count down as the lights go out
on this dream
:D
it would be interesting to see it go

poof!

cosmic confetti!

can you do that?

But I hope Leo leaves the light on ...

The thing is... there's lots of good reading here, and I'm always digging around in the old posts looking to revisit certain little nuggets.

So maybe Leo will just partially disable the forum so we can't post, but we'll still be able to browse the old postings?

Hope so... :)

The plan is to close on Sunday.
And as Maple and others requested,
I'll try and keep it accessible for reading.
Not the 'clean break' I imagined
but not sure I want to
after all the 'outpourings' of support for the forum.

Image

Perhaps leaving it as reading material
is the proper 'middle ground.'

awakening,
thanks for proposing the middle ground alternative

you've opened up an incredibly interesting dialogue here,
or is it a poetic travelogue? what is it?..

and as you know, and it's been said over & over,
what has made this place brilliant has been your oversight
and your (live) participation,
making into a digital ashram...
& no one can expect that to continue, forever...,
without a holiday :D

we got lucky,
we hopped on the ferry while it was
going from nowhere to nowhere...
it's all a story, now,
a fantastically diverse collection of now moments...

i think it's beautiful to leave it
for those who want to return & gaze at the waves of joy,
the swells of love, the tides of duality,
the wakes of awakened beauty
and the ripples of laughter...

thanks cap'n,
love jj

Perhaps there is more time now to finish a fresh newsletter.
And of course, all news letters are available on line.
You'll find them here:

The empty boat floats down stream.
From where do all those voices come?
From where does this laughter come?

Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.

The ride would not be the same without you Jeff.
Your humor and 'slice of life' postings are a joy.

Yes, thanks for that Leo, it's nice to be able to drop in and put things back into 'non-dual' perspective.
And keep my memory of all you good people alive, (although I don't think that memory will ever die).

And...uhmm....apologies for acting like an idiot on many occasions...
