And isn't it interesting how one sentence can mean two different things depending on how I tilt my head?
What I was actually thinking about when I made the original statement was all the time I've spent pretending to get it and going through the motions to impress others and how thoroughly I wasn't getting it at those times. So that's a third way to tilt your head.
